Hotels in Kyoto?

Q) I'm taking 16 students to Kyoto in September and we are unable to ge a booking at our usual hotel - the New Miyako. Our travel agent has suggested the following hotels instead: Hotel Centnovum or the New Hankyu Kyoto. Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? Can you suggets another hotel close to Kyoto station? Thanks

A) I don't understand why you are hesitative about staying those two hotels. Hotel Centnovum New Hankyu Kyoto Both of them are located in front of the Kyoto station. I can say they are better than New Miyako. Personally, I recommend "Hotel Centnovum". (feel slightly luxury)

Hotels black list?

Q) I need to know how a person gets on to a hotels black list. What is a hotel black list, and what happens after you are put onto a hotels black list?

A) This is usually for people who skip payment & the police are aware, and/or have a bad reputation (eg people who trash hotels). The black list will work among chains, such as Hilton...or hotels within a region. We once had a man who charged £500 to a room as well as the rack rate & paid with a stolen credit card. All the hotels in the region were informed by the police & he was caught checking into another some miles away. Once your on the list, you will be banned from staying in any of the locations, and if your still wanted & you try to check in the police will be informed immediately. Its like the Pub Watch scheme which does the same thing.

Hotels near Oxford Circle?

Q) I'm looking for a hotel close to Oxford Circle, somewhere on Oxford street would be best. I know there are plenty of hotel sites online but I'm a woman and admit I'm not very good with maps. Do you know any hotels you could recommend? I don't want to stay anywhere super expensive and not in a rat hole either, something in-between would be nice. I have appointments very close to Oxford Circus and loads of stuff to carry around so I want to minimize all traveling, even if it's just one or two tube stops away.

Unusual hotels in Blackpool,Newcastle or Edinburgh?(or other cities)?

Q) Hi me and some girlies from work are wanting to go a night away somewhere and are trying to find an unusual hotel to go to. We had our hearts set on the Sleepover Suite at Alton Towers but all weekends are booked up until September!!!Does anyone know of any hotels with unusual themed suits?Something a bit different?Ideally it would be somewhere like Blackpool where theres the pleasure beach etc but we are open to all ideas. We would like a hotel room where we can have a big girlie night in.Hope you can help!!!

A) Hi Emma First of all you need to work out where you are going to go and when as prices vary. You need a tool which can identify hotels by price , location and star rating - try this one and look for the free inclusions plus how many people you can fit in a room - 3 should be no problem in most places. Hotels in Hong Kong?

Q) I've asked a question before on Hong Kong and got some excellent answers fo things to do but now i'm looking for hotels but am a bit 'wowed' i guess by the choice there. Does anyone recommend a hotel actually on Hong Kong island to stay? I stayed in ya mei tei last time and maybe i should look for something more central next time. A) If you are on a tight budget then you could stay at the Ibis hotel on Hong Kong Island that is very reasonably prices. I stayed at the cosmopolitan hotel in Wan Chai on Hong Kong. Q) Why is it that in searches for hotels, you have to have adults to be able to enter kids, but ive stayed in a hotel room without any adults in that room . How do you know if the hotel allows that? Also, I know hotels will let you use cots so you can all stay in on room, whats the limit of people to a room?

A) I've worked in hotels for seven years and I'm pretty sure most are the same. You are legally supposed to have an adult in a room. Some hotels the age to get a room is 18, others it's 21. I know sometimes parents will get a seperate room for the kids. That's fine as long as they're not trouble. The reason you have to enter in a number of adults (besides what I just said) is just because that's how hotel computer systems are set up. As far as the limit to the number of people in a room, you have to ask the individual hotel that. There are fire codes that come into play and it all depends on the size of the room.

How to find hotels around 50 dollars per night in NYC?

Q) How can I find hotels and make reservations for hotels at around 50 dollars per night that have an Internet service in NYC and hopefully within 40minutes commuting time to the Manhattan? The objective of staying hotels is to find a good summer housing around the Manhattan area. Let's say for the summer housing, I want it to be within 35 minutes of commuting time in radius using the Grand Central Station as the center of the circle. Thus to search for such housing, it's better for my temporary hotel to be somehow near to a place where summer housing is potentially abundant, and where it is easy for me to check out those houses which are close to the Manhattan area. How do I find such hotels for my initial stay in NYC which are affordable but still near Manhattan? I hope this hotel is located at a place where houses are abundant and it is easy for me to find the house. And the hotel will not be at the center of the Manhattan, because those hotels are very expensive. Thanks Thanks a lot! A) Try looking for apt rentals on craigslist.com. Private owners rent their places when they're not in town. Tons cheaper than hotels.

A) no - bartenders in hotels do exactly that, tending the bar. room service brings drinks up. well, as to do all hotels have bars - no. three star hotels and up do offer bars. i hope this answers it for you.
